Name: Torque Reduction Based On Knock Sensor

Description:

The "Torque Reduction Based On Knock Sensor" is used for calculating torque reduction when detonation is detected by the PCM. Torque reduction is achieved by reduction of boost pressure.

Use:

This table contains two columns and three rows. Column number one (labeled "Percentage of Full Knock Retard") is used to specify a percentage of maximum allowed knock retard. The value for maximum allowed knock retard can be found under the "Knock Sensor" section in the "Max Allowed Total Retard" table. Column number two (labeled "Multiplier") is used to specify the multiplier applied to the commanded torque at the percentage of maximum allowed knock retard specified in the corresponding value of column one.
