What is Rear Sync?

Rear Sync describes a type of flash technique used during photographic exposures. You can find out more about it here. It is also the name of this website, a personal site dedicated to my photography, blogging and a host to all things "Nick MacCarthy".

My name is Nick MacCarthy. I'm currently working as a Security Engineer for VeriSign in Providance RI. I have a wonderful girlfriend Laurie who inspires and keeps me on track most of the time.
